The first forum for public relations practitioners in the security and police services was held this morning at the Department of Chemistry, University of Tripoli, In the presence of the Minister of Interior, Brigadier Abdul Salam Ashour, the President of the University of Tripoli, Dr. Nabil Al-Natah, the Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mabrouk Faris, The Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Information Dr. "Abdul Karim Kinder" and the President of the faculty members union of the University, "Dr. Osama Blue" along with the head of  Public Relations unit,  a number of deans, heads of departments and directors of the university departments, director of the Tripoli Security Directorate, a number of employees of the security services, directors of departments and heads of public relations departments within the Ministry of Interior in addition to students of the Faculty of Arts and Information,

In the opening of the forum, a number of speeches were  delivered which emphasized the importance of joint cooperation between the university, being the house of knowledge and experience and the Ministry of the Interior, which represents the security services in Libya. Many lectures and scientific papers were presented including a lecture by Dr. Al-Nami Al-Alem  titled  "The Typical Human build-up of a Public Relations Man". Some retirees and participants in this forum were honored.

It is worth mentioning that this forum was sponsored by the Ministry of Interior, in association with the Faculty of Arts and Information - University of Tripoli.
