As part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of  Tripoli University, a book exhibition was opened on Tuesday at the  building of chemistry  Department - Faculty of Science , in commemoration of World Book and Copyright Day, in addition to opening the oil paintings exhibition of the founders of the faculties of Tripoli University numbering  (25) presidents, since its establishment ,

The opening  Ceremony of the  exhibition was attended by the Education Minister of the National Accord Government,  Mr. Osman Abdel Jalil, and the President of the University of Tripoli, Prof. . Nabil El-Natah, a members of the Libyan House of Representatives, a members of the Supreme Council of the State, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education Adel Jumaa and a number of the Faculties deans and heads of Libyan universities as well as the faculty members.

The Book Fair was organized by the Libraries and Publications Department of Tripoli University under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, where a number of Libyan publishing houses and universities took part in the exhibition. The exhibition included oil paintings for the  former university presidents and founders. It is worth mentioning that these works are carried out by doctors and students of the Faculty of Arts and Information at the University
