The participants of this study were 20 students, divided into two groups (group A\ B) and 3 instructors from the Department of English Language. This study was conducted in the Fall semester of 2021. A mixed- method approach was employed to achieve the goals and objectives of the study. To collect the required data, the researcher distributed a closed- ended questionnaire to 20 EFL students and 3 instructors, and conducted semi-structured interviews with 3 instructors and 8 students. Based on pilot study was also conducted on the students to ensure the feasibility, validity and reliability of the study. The qualitative data of the interviews were analyzed by content analysis, and the quantitative data of the questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS. The results revealed that both students and instructors have positive attitudes towards the use of PPP in EFL classes. They see the PPP as a useful, simple and interesting tool to use in EFL classes. Furthermore, both groups of the students (group A with PPP teaching method, and group B with traditional teaching method) had positive perceptions if PPPs were used in EFL classes. They also believed that the PPP can improve their language skills. In addition, the data showed that students and instructors preferred the lessons with PPP, i.e; it would be easier to take notes during lessons. Finally, the study suggested some recommendations for future researches, such as focusing on the issue of integrating PPP into the learning and teaching methods of the Libyan EFL curriculum. رقم القرار968المكان قاعات المناقشات بكلية اللغات
